It's slowly but surely coming together

Denver's room is slowly but surely coming together..with the help of a very sweet lady from our church.  Nancy, our friend from church, made Denver's curtains and bedding as a gift to us.  She is one of the sweetest ladies we know.  Everything is so cute, she did such a wonderful job.  I'm posting some pics for those that care to see.  Although pictures don't do justice at all :)

After painting 3 different pieces of furniture I think we have his room as full as it needs to be.  The longer the wait the more things I add to his room, and it is getting pretty full.  Now all we have left to do is hang pictures and other decor on his walls.  I highly doubt that he will care if any of this is done but it gives me something to do.

Cute curtains that Nancy made.

New bed skirt and quilt

Denver's baby quilt

Adorable clothes hamper that we got as a gift.  Too cute!

Cute pillow that Nancy gave us for a shower gift.
The newest furniture addition to Denver's room is a book shelf that I painted brown.

We haven't heard anything new this week but as soon as we do, you will know.
Hope that everyone had a wonderful Easter, we sure did.  God bless you all!!!

Meet Denver Kaleb Morgan!!!

This has been a long time coming, but well worth the wait.  We want to share some pictures of Denver with you, these range from about 6 months to 13 months.  Hope you enjoy :)

These 2 were some of the first pictures we received of Denver.

I don't know how much Denver likes the bumbo.

Okay, I don't think he's a big fan of it.  It's hard to fit in there with his little belly.  What a cutie!

This is our 1st family photo together.  We were blessed to have Wes & Nina (professional photographers) come with us on our "Meetcha Day" and take some wonderful pictures.

One of his nannies was able to get some good smiles out of him.  It makes us feel really good
that he likes his nannies so much, what a blessing.

We both go to feed him his bottle...although there was too much going on and he was way more interested
in knowing what was happening around him than drinking.  It reminds me of myself at a restaurant focusing on "people watching" instead of eating.  Grant reminds me frequently that I am a little ADD and my coworkers
refer to me as "Nosey Rosie".    Like mother, like son...haha.

This is one of my favorite pictures.  Grant is going to be such a wonderful dad!
This is the last picture that we received...I think the purple butterfly shirt is a definite keeper.
Well atleast the picture is, I can't wait to show this to his first girlfriend.

Again thank you so much for all of the prayers, thoughts, words of encouragement and everything else.  From here we are waiting on an embassy date which could take around 8 weeks.  I know time is going to fly by...and I have alot to do before our baby arrives.  I better get busy.  God bless you all!!!

WE PASSED COURT!!!

Thanks for all the prayers!!!

We passed court, so I think we can post pictures of Denver tonight.

WooHoo!!!

How Blessed We Are !!!

We are so blessed to have such wonderful family and friends!  We (Denver) have received so many presents that I think we might have to add on to our house.  All of the support we receive from work, church, family & friends is a constant reminder of how blessed we truly are.
On Friday we got our latest update on Denver and it said that he is doing well, very talkative and loves to kiss his nannies (he's quite the ladies man).  His weight is up to 20.5 lbs so he is steadily gaining weight.  We have not received new pictures of him yet but as soon as we do I will e-mail them out.
Our next...and hopefully final court date is next Thursday the 14th.  Please continue to pray that they will have their comments ready and we can work on getting an embassy date to bring Denver home.
Sorry it's been a while since we've updated, these past weeks have been a little rough between Grant and I taking turns at being sick, but we are both feeling much better.  Hope that all of you are doing well and feel as blessed as we do!!!  WE LOVE YOU ALL!!!
